The corporation Edu1st Preschools in South Florida creates a curriculum, which encourages children to think in a different way. This curriculum is used by the other schools around the world as well. However, there are not many changes for employees as they are not given the importance and participation, which can contribute to the better service. This paper aims to explain how the personnel have embraced the company’s change strategies, whether the organization has been effective establishing those changes, and whether it has any professional plans for the staff.
The personnel of Edu1st Preschool have embraced the company’s change strategies by creating a team that consists of qualified and experienced workers who can coordinate the set goals and the ways of their achievements. Each employee should share the responsibility for the result of change strategies, pooling their resources in order to achieve organizational goals. These goals are often seen as an opportunity to win in their realization. The personnel may set themselves broader goals that serve to stimulate their active implementation, which can be regarded as a significant source of emotional energy (Wilson, 2014).
Edu1st Preschool seems to be ineffective establishing those changes because they do not consider the human factor. In particular, the employees do not have complete and objective information regarding their need for change and their personal benefits. The management often tries to implement their design office and perform the activities within the framework of project management. Lynn (2011) believes that the lack of complete information leads workers’ distrust regarding the change of methods and changes implementation. Thus, dissatisfaction with management leads to the collective resistance to changes.
However, the company has professional development plans for the personnel that include new responsibilities, preparation for work in new positions, training programs, developing skills needed to improve efficiency, and ensuring interchangeability of employees.
In conclusion, Edu1st Preschool has a good potential. Still, its main aim is happy customers, and the company often ignores the human factor of its personnel. To improve this situation, it must develop professional development plans for the employees.
