The journey towards Meghan Trainor weight loss
Known for delivering hit songs like All about the bass, Lips are Moving, Dear Future Husband, No Excuses, Can’t Dance, Meghan Trainor recently opened up about her weight loss journey, how the weight gain after pregnancy traumatised her, leading to panic attacks, and overhauled her lifestyle. The former The Voice star shared about losing 60lbs after the delivery of her son, Riley. The actress shared with ET Canada, “I was my heaviest; I was like over 200 pounds when I C-sectioned him out. I just wasn’t feeling great.” She also said, “I’ve never had stitches, so to have this C-section scar, I was in a really dark place and I wanted to be in a great place for my son."
Weighing over 200lbs following her baby’s delivery, she embarked on a healthier lifestyle, after she was pushed into a very dark phase of her life. She opened up about learning about healthier food options, learning about what portions mean, and dedicated herself to exercising and seeing the pounds come off which made her happier than ever. She has mentioned how the weight loss journey has pushed more confidence in her life. After losing about 60 lbs, Meghan Trainor weight loss journey toned her body and made her almost unrecognisable, as well as a newfound love for exercising and working out. She has claimed that following her weight loss, her confidence level has reached a ‘good eight or nine’.
The star who has always portrayed and encouraged body positivity, and self-love through the lyrics of her songs, opened up about her after the delivery of her baby, she underwent massive body changes that resulted in doubt and dislike towards herself.
Trainor, who married Dary Sabara in welcomed her baby Riley in the year 2021, opened up about the deteriorating health condition of her son, which was aggravated when even the medical healthcare professionals and experts could not provide an answer to them. She said, “It was just really frustrating not having an answer." She admitted,"Not having answers for why my kid didn't wake up for a week was very frustrating.”
Meghan mentioned, that after the birth of her son, she had to suffer a lot and had to undergo pain via C-section, and she was motivated, that she could undertake any pain in the world, and encouraged herself. Trainor weight loss journey was more than just a motivation to lose weight, and build a healthier style. She took the harder road, challenging herself, building healthy habits and nutrition, and her weight loss came at a very steady pace, but in a very healthy manner, as advised by the NHS guidelines. Weighing at the heaviest, along with her son not staying awake long for feeding, she went through a dark phase. But she opened up about it, and said, “I was very dedicated and I started seeing the pounds come off like one week at a time, one pound… I learned that I do like healthy food and I learned what portions mean. And I learned my brain is so happy when I exercise, so I'm just [feeling] better than ever.”
The American singer-songwriter, musician, and producer with a net worth of $14 million, has built a huge fanbase by delivering hits and sharing about her journey as a post of motivation to all her fans. The millionaire, married Dary and described her relationship with him as ‘love at first sight, shared the love and relationship with the world in October 2016, got engaged in 2017, married a year later, on Meghan Trainor 25th birthday, and welcomed their baby Riley in 2021.
